Welcome to Sutton Coldfield Archaeological Society (SCAS)

On behalf of Sutton Coldfield Archaeological Society, I would like to introduce ourselves as to who we are and what we do.

We are a group of people who are interested in archaeology that is happening now. We are not limited to a narrow area of interest but embrace the wider world of archaeology. We do not participate in digging but we invite archaeologists to come and tell us about their work and discoveries. These talks last from September to March. In the summer, we also organise visits to local places of historical interest.

We meet fortnightly, at the Trinity Centre opposite Holy Trinity Church in The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield B72 1TF, on Friday afternoons at 2.00pm for a 2.15pm start. Please check with this website to view our programme - on rare occasions a speaker may not be available in the afternoon and an alternative time chosen.

To find the Trinity Centre , please view the menu at the top of this page.
